Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep - Motion Graphic
As a part of our motion brief, we had to create an opening sequence for a book of our choice. The challenge was to encourage people to read the novel. Choosing 'Do Androids Dream of electric sheep by Philip.K.Dick, I had the issue that everyone has seen or heard of it's movie adaption 'Blade Runner' but had not read the book or knew of it.
Knowing this, I set out to design a motion piece which had a separate style from the film and would be seen as a separate entity. The final piece takes inspiration from the Mad Max & West world intros along with a sound track made especially for this video by Kieran Williams.
